About Me

Professional Experience:

Being a REALTOR for over 15 years, I pride myself in making owning a home a reality.  From first homes to dream homes, residential land, farms and commercial property, I am ready to help you with all your real estate needs.

I have consistently been one of the top agents in Dothan.  I have made the local "Club of Excellence" throughout my career and remain as a top agent at James Grant Realty. I ranked in the top 5 agents in Dothan for 2007. I am also a member of the Alabama Association of REALTORS Honor Society.

I have earned my GRI, ABR, SFR, and Brokers licenses. I am the former chairperson/member of various local REALTOR committees including, Member Services, Community Services, MLS Board of Directors, MLS Board Secretary/Treasurer, Awards Committee, REALTORS for Children Committee just to name a few.  I am currently on the Dothan Association of REALTORS Board of Directors as a State Director and serve on the Grievance Committee.

In 2008 I helped Charter the Dothan/Wiregrass Women's Council of REALTORS where I have served as Treasurer, Vice President of Membership and currently President Elect.  The Chapter won a silver award in 2009 and GOLD in 2010 in Washington D.C. as well as the prestigious Wells Fargo "Enable, Inspire and Educate Award". I attend all local, state and National REALTOR conventions to keep up to date on the ever changing Real Estate business.

The Dothan Association of REALTORS banned together in our Hurricane Katrina Relief effort.  We were able to provide housing, clothing, and furniture for over 30 families.  Many of the displaced families remain in the area today because they loved our friendly community.  I also participated in the REALTOR Build Project in Bayou La Batre where over 50 new homes were built through Habitat for Humanity for people affected by Hurrican Katrina.

My focus includes working with various investors and builders with a market that includes the Wicksburg community which is West of Dothan and near Ft. Rucker.

Outside Interests:

I was a March of Dimes Board member for  8 years, dedicating my time and fundraising efforts.  My main reason for picking this charity is my now 14 year old son, Brent, who was premature, hydrocephalic, and has mild cerebral palsy.

I have been involved in Dixie Youth baseball, football, softball and cheerleading during Courtney and Brandons elementary and high school years at Wicksburg.  Courtney recently graduated from Troy University with two degrees in Science and hopes to pursue a medical career.  Brandon graduated from Rehobeth High School and is currently attending Wallace College with plans to transfer to Auburn University to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering.  Brent is entering the 9th grade at Wicksburg this year.
